沿岸環境科学研究センター（CMES）において、本年度４月より活動を実施しております、共同利用・共同研究拠点「化学汚染・沿岸環境研究拠点」（LaMer）プロジェクトの一環として、下記の要領で第10回特別講演会を行うこととなりました。

題目：大規模災害に環境化学はどう向き合うか？
講師：中田 晴彦 先生（熊本大学自然科学研究科 准教授）
要約：大規模災害は、大量の有害物質を環境中に流出させるなど深刻な二次被害を招きます。
化学汚染の視点で災害被災地の環境変化を緊急調査し、国や自治体が対策を講じるための基礎情報を提供することは、環境化学に期待される部分であり社会的使命ともいえます。
本講演では、過去5年間に国内外で行った3つの災害研究の概要に触れながら、緊急時対応の体制確立に向けた今後の取り組みについてお話したいと思います。
