Meeting room #674, 6F, Science Research Bldg 1, CMES, Ehime University
演題:Lesson from rotifers, copepods and fish: genome, adverse outcome pathway, and future
development of molecular and biochemical ecotoxicology
講師:Prof. Jae-Seong Lee
Department of Biological Science, College of Science,
Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea
趣旨:Since 2003, I developed several model species including rotifers (Brachionus koreanus, B. plicatilis) and copepods (Tigriopus japonicus, Paracyclopina nana), and fish (Oryzias melastigma). Recently I successfully assembled all the genomes of all the mentioned species in my laboratory and now I am using those sequence information in several aspects of studies in examining effects of environmental stressors (oil spillage, microplastics, nanoparticle, gamma radiation, UV radiation, heavy metal, endocrine-disrupting chemicals etc) at in vivo and in vitro levels. I am currently trying to develop more reliable tools (signal transduction, CRISPER/CAS9) for molecular and biochemical ecotoxicology in rotifers and copepods. In this presentation, I will overview some of updated findings
